Towards Halcyon Days

Taken at the trail behind my boyfriend's grandparents' house.
I find autumn to be the prettiest time of the year.. well snow is beautiful as well, but the colours of fall never cease to amaze me.
The way the sun hit and the fact that the trail looks like it is leading towards a bright safe haven (even with some hindrances along the way) are the reasons for the title.. and for why I love the picture so much.
